From 12 noon until 3 pm today I am canvassing in Lake Geneva, WI.  I have not done this in prior elections but for this election I am doing whatever I can to keep Trump out of the White House.  Knocking on doors is not in my comfort zone but I actually have come to enjoy it.  I have faced no hostility and engaging in the community in this manner has given me a new perspective on my neighbors - like despite our various differences in whatever area, we are all in this together.  I'm also working on contacting my friends on the election in both Wisconsin, Michigan and Georgia. Yesterday I also donated again to the Harris campaign.  Sometimes I wonder how effective any of my efforts will be, especially with only a few days left but I am compelled to keep doing whatever I can up until and including election day ... "leaving it all on the field"... and if a lot of people do similarly (i.e. doing whatever they can do up until and including election day) my efforts will indeed have made a big difference!

I have also heard of prayer services for the election at Calvary Church in Williams Bay - I think daily.  I plan on checking this out as I feel this will bring some peace and it is another chance to offer my requests to an all powerful and all personal God.
